Has an opportunity caught your eye lately by professing that you won't have to pitch anything to your Friends & Family?
Why was that so appealing to you?
Are you afraid they'll think you're crazy?
Do you think you have the ability to do something major with your life, such as make more money than you've ever made, without them finding out???
Would you want to improve your life and increase your income and refuse the people you care about the most the chance to do the same???
Really?
WOW !
If you try something like that, for that reason, that means that YOU already don't believe in it. And therefore, no one else will either!
Believe me, I know it's tough. I know what "they" think & what "they" say!
I also know WHY they think it & say it!
My friends & family have known me all my life. They know I didn't finish college. They know (in their mind & experience) that I am an expert in one field only -Construction. As far as they are concerned, I don't know anything about Health care products, Tupperware, long distance, saving money on cars & furniture, what's the best make up to wear, or even about MAKING MONEY.
In construction, they've never seen me get rich. But there are some other things I have been becoming very good at, through running my own construction company, right under their noses!
I have learned how to Network!
I have learned how to (& how not to) deal with people!
I have learned how to manage not only projects, but people as well !
I have learned how to be a pretty good writer! From creating all of my own business documents, legal & otherwise, to writing all of the content on my construction website, to helping clients visualize a project through written discription.
I have become THE best designer of custom decks & other outdoor living spaces in my region of the country! Not to mention that I designed every aspect of my highly praised & award winning construction website.
But here's how it goes with my loved ones, even the ones I've designed & built for:
Friends & Family: "How's business?"
Me: "Great" or "Fine" or "Just bid on a big job. Hope we get it."
Friends & Family: "Good. You still got your truck? You still got your Workshop?"
You see, they only see that it hasn't made me rich and therefore they ask questions like those to see if I'm even smart enough to keep surviving.
Then, as I find out through other people, they will pick up their phone and call someone else (banker, mortgage broker, CPA, their "Momma", their neighbor, or someone else that has NO experience in it but may have gone to college) and ask if they know a good remodeler, architect, cabinet maker, electrician, landscaper, computer whiz, legal adviser, or business planner !!!!
So, in all actuality...
They have NO idea what I'm really capable of!
And, your right, they'll NEVER believe it anyway. Because they think they are smarter than you and that they already know you better than you know yourself. If they haven't SEEN you do it, over & over, AND excell at it to the point of riches, they will never believe you could do it. Sadly, money talks louder than anything else.
So, now we know what "They" will think & say and why they'll say it. And now we know why it is so appealing to join something (ANYTHING!) that doesn't require us to pitch to friends & family. That friends & family thing is SO scary to us that we will quietly give money to any scammer that promises we don't have to pitch to "them" even if there is a chance that we will lose our money or be getting involved in something potentially illegal! IF IT ALL GOES BAD, AT LEAST I WON'T BE EMBARRASED IN FRONT OF MY FRIENDS & FAMILY !!
Well, Okay.
In most cases, and with most MLM's, a good rule of thumb IS to NOT pitch to your friends & family, at least at first, until you make some money. The reason for this is because you might be showing them one of the companies we've already talked about on this site (whether I've named them or not), and odds are, you WILL get embarrased and end up burning that bridge. After you realize the many downsides, risks & pitfalls of that company, it may be too late; you may have already gotten "them" into it and they could get hurt too! If that happens, they will NEVER want to hear about anything else you come across again! They may not even trust you to do your "regular job" for them anymore since you were "so stupid as to get them all involved in that pyrimid!"
But...
What if the company you want to show them can:
-
Stand on its own,
-
Provides them with something they can't get anywhere else,
-
Something that they WILL want to use for themselves even if they don't chose to make money with it,
-
Something far more convenient, customized & cost effective than they could ask for?
What if you didn't even have to "pitch it" to them? What if you could simply & quietly GIVE it to them, and after seeing it, they'd ASK YOU how to get it for themselves? What if you were so shy you could even GIVE it to them without being there, in person, to do it?
What if it is something that is so worth the money it costs that they are ahead of the game before they even use it? What if they could turn around and give it as a gift instead of using it themselves? What if they could turn around and SELL it instead of using it themselves without being a Distributor???
What's going to happen when they can't get enough? They are going to come to YOU for more!
Since this company's product is something that EVERYONE would use, they can't say, "it's not for me".
Some people are into health, some people are into lingere & stuff, some people are into make-up, some people are into making money for the sake of money alone. Everyone, yes your friends & family too, are into this!
So, don't pitch this to your friends & family. Give them a gift (it'll cost you $1.03) and wait for them to call you in amazement wanting to know all about it!
At some point in the near future, someone somewhere will be giving you, your friends or a member of your family one of these gifts. Don't you think it should be YOU who does it?
Please fill out the form on the main page and let me, this website, and the product work for YOU.
