What NOT to waste your time on

There are many opportunities and people out there that are ready to make you believe that THEIR system is THE one for you.

If you are someone that wants to make money, no matter how illegal, how dangerous or how risky the system is, or if you don't care if the product or system really helps people or not, then some of those things MAY be for you.

They are NOT for me!

Here are just a few examples of things you could do in an attempt to make money without getting a real job. Things that I think are dangerous or a waste of time.

  • Selling or giving away E-BOOKS.
  • Offering or joining MLM Counseling/Mentoring programs.
  • Companies that require you to buy & store inventory.
  • ANY company that costs more than a few hundred dollars to join.
  • Any company that will NOT tell you anything about itself or its "product" unless you spend money FIRST.
  • Any company thats "product" is nothing more than a "system of getting people to join"  -  you only get paid when people join, there is no actual product.
  • Any company that will require you to pay for or build your own website or require you go out and do your own advertising.
  • Any company that will have you believe that you can make money WITHOUT ever having to talk to any people. The idea that there is such a way will always and forever be a fairytale! It is the PEOPLE that have the money and most of them will not give it away to people they have never talked to.
  • Any company where YOU are not in some control of the product or your own destiny with regard to prospects. (i.e. taking phone orders for infomercials, webstores, etc.) If THEY don't do their job right, YOUR phone won't ring.
  • Any system that is ONLY financial - again, the "product" is the promise alone that you & the others you bring in can become rich.
  • Any company that involves selling you a list or a way to build your list bigger & more targeted. That's ridiculous! How do they know who you need on your list? It amounts to spam & cold-calling & you will have paid to do it!!

As with any new technology, there will be people who rush in to figure out a way to profit from it. With the advent of the phone, we had folks who used it to hide behind while they perpetrated "phone scams". With the advent of the internet, we've had more people than we could've dreamed use it to hide behind while they perpetrate more types of scams than ever.

When we are so desperate for money, we will literally fall for anything and believe in anyone.

If you're main problem, right at this moment, is that you are severely lacking money, then you should probably get a second job until you have a few hundred dollars to invest in yourself. Whatever you do, do NOT give your last few dollars to some MLM that has no real product that, worst case scenatio, can't at least be used by YOU to make YOUR life better!

You must get SOMETHING for your money!

I will say this: I have fallen for a few of these "deals" over the years. And I am proud of the fact that, in all, I've only lost about $600. Some of that money was from joining real & legit companies but their system ended up being too hard or confusing or they were in an industry that had too much close competition.

Some of the real and successful companies I've heard of (a few of which I tried) include Amway, Mary Kay, Excel, SuperBlueGreen Algae, Team National, Heritage Makers, and more. These are all legit and have made a lot of money for a lot of people. However, because of close competition with the products (Wal Mart, etc.) you have to be a GREAT salesman to succeed in them.

Any time you think you want to get involved with a Direct Selling or Nework Marketing company, do your homework FIRST. Google the company, Google the CEO or Founder, Google the person that's trying to get you invloved, Contact the DSA (if a company is not listed it may be because they are too new), Contact the Attorney General in the companies home state, look at other companies like it (if there is very much competition at all, why is this company better than its competitors?)

Motivating you...

I am the kind of person that DOES need some positive motivation from time to time, but for the most part, if something is real and works, that's all the "pumping-up" I need. You may be different. You may need weekly meetings, self-help guides, motivational CD's from Industry Guru's, etc. But, you do NOT need to join some MLM Counseling group or program  -  even if they say it's free!

The MLM Counseling is a "$ system" in it's own right. How can they help you succeed at your business if they don't know anything about it? Every company has a proven system in place that works for how best to acheive & succeed in that individual business. Some uninvolved third-party can't help you. But they CAN cost you and waste your time!

Even some of the REAL companies listed above, that offer real products/services at a real value, can sometimes rely too heavily on their meetings and other "motivational" devises. A company should be able to show you one time how awesome their product/service is and not have to keep reminding you that themselves and you are both "good enough, smart enough, & dog-gone it people like you!"

Some of these companies & their wares are pretty good, but not so good that they don't have to keep you pumped and keep re-making you a believer and keep telling you how important it is for you to keep trying to make others a believer as well. It shouldn't be that hard!

We could all use some self-help books to some extent. But in MLM, if the product can sell itself, you can save the "Rah-Rah" for other things in your life.

If you want to be introduced to the only company that I believe is worth your time, then fill out the form at the bottom of the main page.

Let me remind you that you will NOT be placed on any list anywhere, nor will your information ever be sold to anyone!

Also, if you become interested and want to get involved for personal reasons or to do it as a business, you will NOT have to have, or create, a website like this one. This website is not sanctioned by the company (they don't care that I have it, though, because I haven't mentioned their name or infringed on their copyrights), it is just something I alone have decided to do to try to find people that would appreciate this company and possibly be really good at the business end of it.

And, actually, you will benefit from the fact that I have this website. You don't have to worry that it will be your competition. In any good MLM, you want to build a TEAM. You don't want to have to sign up EVERYONE yourself. Of all the people that visit this site, I will only be personally signing up a small percentage of them; the rest will be placed under people like YOU.
